_Illuminatus Initiation.VR experience work in progress

Based on the award winning books The Illuminatus Triilogy.
A character driven narrative VR experience, that takes the user on an exploratory journey, part film, part interactive experience. Showcasing the themes and tropes from the books. A virtual initiation into the characters, mythology and history of the The Illuminatus Trilogy. Created as a co-production VR/AR/TV project with filmtiki for Kallisti.

_Order Without Monotony.on-site 360 installation

Three bespoke audio reactive 360 videos, commissioned by the Barbican Centre for the Musicity Festival 2019.

Working with three audio artists we were inspired by three spaces situated at the Barbican centre and worked to gether to re-create three psychogeographical 360 videos that were presented to the public on-site at the Barbican centre using bespoke Google Cardboard headsets, in-situ at the locations.

_the Cube.vr theatre experience

The artist Simon Wilkinson commisioned amoeba to create a touring, immersive, interactive piece of transmedia VR Theatre, that can be sent to venues worldwide with a trained actor to control the narrative, and interact with in VR live.

amoeba created an immersive, dream-like, David Lynchian surrealist virtual environment for the VR Theatre performance. Working with robotfunk at the Amsterdam Realtime Cinema Research Lab for the interactive narrative and creative code.

_Kalimpong.vr installation

The artist Shezad Dawood commissioned amoeba to create a VR installation for his exhibition "Kalimpong" in the Timothy Taylor Gallery London in oct 2016.

amoeba designed and created an interactive, immersive and fully explorable, large scale VR instalation, set around the true story of the Himalayan Hotel in nepal, the Dali Lamas escape from Tibet, the CIA, KGB and the actor James Stewart smuggling out a yeti finger from the Kalimpong monestry in the early 1960's.

The Japan Sound Project .on-site vr Installation

The Japan Sound Project_VR is a series 360 ambisonic audio led Virtual Reality Portraits of places and spaces in Japan, made for the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

It recreates in VR, audio and photography field recordings and sound collages into a virtual, hypnotic 360 space, with ambiant interactive animations and volumetric realtime effects.

_Typographical Topologies .vr installation

TypeFightClub VR is a fully immersive, truculent typographical playground. Made for writers, authors, designers and typographers to experience their work in VR and an immersive environment. Punch, and throw text at your pleasure, create VR word poems using impossible physics, and dodge words hurled at you by the authors voice.
