I have gave workshops, talks, mentored students and gave visiting lectures at Colleges and Universitys such as Regents University London, Insecc London, Vienna University, Austria, FuseBox Brighton, The Netherlands FIlm Academy Amsterdam.

I have also spoke and presented at digital, media, film, xr and music festivals and events on a variety of topics.


_emerging technologies_workshops and lectures

Providing a series of hands on indepth bespoke workshops, courses and visiting lectures for digital creatives. Previously ran at The Netherlands FIlm Academy, INSECC London and Ravensbourne College London and also on-site at the amoeba studio in Brighon.

Ranging from 1, 2 to 7 day workshops on a series of emerging XR, digital topics and design and production workflows and trends.

Aimed at directors, designers, students, animators, art-directors, filmakers, editors, writers and creatives who need access to emerging new digital technologies with a hands on realworld creative working in the industry.

Providing tailored, interactive workshops and lectures in a range of subjects showcasing the new trends in the digital design, software and production process, introducing the cross over in Film and Broadcast with realtime technologies and emerging digital trends within the creative, film and TV/VR industies.

Workshops and talks include:

Initially starting out as a VHS artist for record labels and festivals in the early 1990's, now evolving through to using all forms of digital content creation software and hardware.

Utilising new screen display and projection techniques for events, theatre set design, installations, projection mapping and realtime audio visual performance.

Specialising in showcasing new techniques in realtime creative content, performance based narrative visuals and interactive AV installations for visual based events, products and theatre set design.

In 2016 with kallisti.info we worked together to obtain the script option
for the best selling novels from the 1970's called The Illimunatus Trilogy
for use in VR/AR and TV.

To promote our initial TV show idea in 2016-2018 we built interactive VR and AR Demos for the I.P. and showcased them at various film/tv/vr/xr/games symposiums in Europe, UK and USA to gather interest and publicity.

Presenting the VR experiences and talking about our strategy to get our TV show made at The Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2017/2018,
VR Europe
2017/2018, VR Days Amsterdam 2016 and Red Stick Games Symposium, Baton Rouge Louisiana 2018.

Since showing the Illuminatus VR/AR demo at these events we are now creating a full length interactive, character based narrative experience.
Using a bespoke face capture APP to capture the actors facial performance direct where it is composed onto the character as we capture the traditional body motion capture.

_ Ix3: the process of an idea

A 30 minute creative presentation with videos and walkthroughs,
outlining the process of taking an initial idea through concept, obtaining
the IP, creating the brief, making the design bible, writing scripts, starting the video and VR production process, motion capture and creating a narrative
multi platform VR experience.

By using our Illuminatus Trilogy project as a template I can show how as a small studio we were able to take our idea from start to finish and compete
with larger established studios.
