_When asked about the E.P. release, label founder Ben Sheppee said "amoeba is recognized as a strong example of progress that is currently taking place in the audiovisual movement; I think that this EP will really help others realize the art-form, skill set and raise the standard on this kind of AV production and performance."
_A key element of aple ep, is its creative concept: amoeba explains his production technique as arrange / process / loop / edit - the acronym of which is the album’s title. Focusing on these techniques, "versions" and "reactions" display variation around the core aesthetics of amoeba's style, and uncover an exhibition of sampling, which could potentially change the way music and video is performed in the future.
_The aple ep is a must-see for the designer, audiophile, typographer, Visual artist and art collector. For the first time amoeba lays down some of the secrets which he has devised from his av experiements, which have made him part of the international arts scene as both a performer and producer.

Each track is created using motion graphic samples with synched audio, known as /Konstrukts, each AV /konstruct lasts between 1-4 seconds.
/Version
These micro AV /Konstrukts make up the basis of the AV track, and are arranged, sequenced, triggered and mixed to create a final visual music track, now known as a /version
/Reaction
Each /Version AV track isthen re-sequenced and processed using various performance and audio reactive techniques and software, the resulting deconstructed, animation is known as a /Reaction
/Restrukture
Each /version and /reaction is then passed on to other digital artists for them to re-interprit and /restrukture to be part of the A.P.L.E. process.
